Javorovica (General)

Javorovica is a village in the Municipality of Šentjernej. It lies at an elevation of 550 m. From Šentjernej, we head toward Pleterje and Šmarje. When we arrive in the village of Šmarje, we’ll see a church and a cemetery on the left, along with signs pointing toward Pleterje and Javorovica (turn left). When we reach the marked intersection, we continue to follow the signs for Javorovica (right to the Pleterje Charterhouse, straight ahead to Javorovica). Then we drive for another 10 minutes and arrive in the village of Javorovica, where we park near the monument to fallen soldiers.
