TERMS OF USE


The general terms of the Mountains Geek website and web shop (hereinafter: the web portal) are drawn up in accordance with:

  • the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1),
  • the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot).

The general terms and conditions define:

  • the operation of the Mountains Geek web portal,
  • the rights and obligations of the user,
  • the rights and obligations of the web portal,
  • the business relationship between the web portal and the user.

The terms of business of the Mountains Geek web portal are published publicly and the user of the web portal is also made aware of them. When placing an order in the web shop, the customer or user confirms that they are familiar with them and agree to them.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:


The Mountains Geek web portal is operated by AIDI Podjetje za trgovino, zastopanje in storitve d.o.o (hereinafter: the provider). The provider guarantees that all activities enabled on the website, as well as purchases in the web shop, are safe.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA:


As a customer or user you have all the rights set out in the Consumer Protection Act, in accordance with ZVOP-1. You can read more about this on the page Privacy and cookies.


TERMS OF USE OF THE WEB SHOP


PLACING AN ORDER:


When the customer or user selects goods and places an order, they receive a confirmation e-mail about the order status at the e-mail address entered when placing the order or registering in the system. From that moment the sales contract between the provider and the customer is concluded, and all conditions, data and prices are fixed.

Purchasing or placing orders for legal entities through the website is not possible. If a legal entity wishes to order goods, it should contact the provider by e-mail.

PAYMENT FOR GOODS:


Payment for goods is possible only against a pro forma invoice, by bank transfer to the provider's account. The provider will send the ordered goods for further processing after receiving payment, and the customer will be notified of this by e-mail.

PRICES:


All prices are expressed in euros. The prices valid on the day of the order apply. All prices include VAT: 9.5% for food supplements and 22% for other products. Postage costs are not included in the price of the goods. They are charged additionally and amount to €3.

INVOICE:


Upon delivery of the goods the customer receives the original invoice, which is considered valid.

PURCHASE NOTIFICATION PROCEDURE:


When the customer or user places an order on the mountainsgeek.com websites, the provider will send an order confirmation with a pro forma invoice to their e-mail address, which the customer must pay if they want the order to go for further processing.

After the pro forma invoice has been paid, the provider will send the customer an e-mail confirming receipt of payment and that the order has been passed on for further processing.

When the provider ships the ordered goods, it will send the customer an e-mail notice of the shipment, together with a tracking number.

DELIVERY OF GOODS:


The provider uses Pošta Slovenije (Slovenian Post) for delivery of goods.

The provider will do everything to ship the goods within two working days of receiving payment to its bank account at the latest. In case of delay the provider will notify the customer.

WARRANTY:


The goods have no warranty.


TERMS OF USE OF THE WEBSITES


All content on the Mountainsgeek.com websites is protected by copyright and may not be used without the author's permission.

The purpose of the websites is to provide as much information as possible related to hills and hiking in one place. All registered users can add content. Published content is available to all visitors after approval by the administrator.

By entering any data on the website, each individual user guarantees that all content is their own and that they have not copied or taken it from a third party. The Mountains Geek team will therefore not verify the ownership of data, as the user who published the content is solely responsible for any third-party content published. The user is also solely responsible for the content they enter. No information provided on the websites has been professionally verified, it is of an informative nature only, and the provider is therefore not liable for any injury or accident caused by the information provided.

The Mountains Geek team will check every post to see whether it is appropriate and take appropriate action if it is found to be inappropriate. Specifically, the team will notify the user of the error and allow them to correct it. If the user corrects the error, the team will approve the published content and it will appear on the website. If the user does not correct the error, the content will not be approved and consequently will not be displayed on the website. The provider also reserves the right to delete any post from the websites and/or to prevent any user from publishing content. If a user wants to delete their content from the websites, they must contact the provider, who will delete the content at its own discretion.
