Smrekovec (General)

Smrekovec is a 1,577-meter-high peak rising above the Krumpaška Planina plateau, which lies in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. At the summit stands a pyramid with a guestbook and a stamp from the Slovenian Mountain Trail. There is also a signpost at the summit. The Smrekovec Mountain Hut is located a good 200 m below the summit. A hike to Smrekovec is an easy trail that is also suitable for younger hikers.
