The Ribnica Hut is located at an elevation of 1,507 meters above sea level, above Ribnica na Pohorju. The hut is open year-round, and numerous trails lead to it. From in front of the hut, a view of the surrounding peaks opens up. It is part of the Slovenian Mountain Trail.
