At 450 meters above sea level, Mazovnik is the highest peak of Golovec, which rises above Ljubljana. It is a popular destination for the residents of Ljubljana, who use it for recreational activities. Most of the trails leading to the summit are unmarked. The summit is covered with forest, which obstructs most of the view.
