Gigilos (Gingilos) (General)

Gigilos, also known as Gingilos, is a 2,080-meter-high peak located in the White Mountains. It lies just above the well-known Samaria Gorge, which is considered the longest gorge on Crete. The summit is rocky, and a concrete pillar with a lightning rod stands on it. From the summit, a magnificent view opens up of the neighboring peaks and the valley below.
