From Ljubljana, drive to Maribor. Leave the motorway at the exit for Dravograd, Pohorje, Maribor - south, and then keep to the left road, towards Pohorje. You will come to a large crossroads where you turn left towards Areh and Hoče. Follow the main road for a longer distance, until you reach Mariborska hut, where you park in the parking lot.

Continue on foot along the road to a crossroads of three roads, where you can take the middle, dirt road. This road will also soon fork, this time take the left, ascending road. As the road lays down and starts to turn right, you will see a cart track on your left, which you will join. This too will soon fork and keep left here.
