From Tolmin, head toward Nova Gorica. Follow the road across the bridge over the Tolminka River to the nearby fork, where you’ll turn left toward Poljubinj. Follow the main road through Poljubinj, Praprotno, and on toward Ljubinj. In the village, park in the parking lot in front of the playground.
Trail description:We continue on foot toward the church and past it. We follow the paved road to the first turnoff to the right, onto a gravel road, which we follow for quite some time. The road is mostly flat. After walking for a while, the road will split—we’ll take the left fork, which is also indicated by a signpost. Further on, the road begins to climb; we stay on it until a narrow forest trail branches off to the right, which we take. A short walk along the trail follows, after which we’ll reach the summit.
