From the Ljubljana Jesenice motorway, take the Kranj East exit and continue towards Jezersko. When you arrive in the village of Preddvor, follow the signs for Mače. When you arrive in Mače, turn right at the marked crossroads and follow the narrow road above the village, where there is a large marked car park.
Trail description:From the car park, head back to the road you left. Follow the marked road for about half an hour to the crossroads, where you turn left to follow the signs for Kališče. The road climbs moderately. Follow the markings and the path will lead you in a few minutes to a bench at a viewpoint. After about two hours and a few minutes, the path leads us to the Kališče mountain, where the path from the village of Bašelj joins us on the left. From here onwards we have some 15 minutes to climb to our home at Kišče. From home, continue along the path towards Storžič. After a few minutes, the path to Bašeljski vrh branches off to the right, and we continue straight ahead. After 30 minutes of climbing, the path starts to climb steeply and leads to the ridge of Storžič. Continue to the right and after a few minutes reach the top where the cross stands.
