From Ljubljana, drive to Tržič and continue through Tržič, past Lom pod Storžičem to Grahovšči. In the village, keep left at the last houses. The road soon becomes macadam and less well maintained, and we follow it for a longer distance, all the way to Dom pod Storžičem, where we park in a larger car park.

From the car park, continue on foot along the narrow path that branches off to the left at the end of the car park. The path soon turns into the woods and immediately splits. Turn left here and continue through the woods for some time. The path is mostly steep here. During the ascent, the forest will break up several times for short periods and you will enjoy wonderful views. When the path turns out of the forest, it ascends through a small clearing, at the end of which the next fork awaits. The path to Javorníšek sedlo branches off to the left, and we continue to the right. From here on, the path is slightly laid and in a more moderate way continues through the heather with a simultaneous view of the top of Stroržič. Soon the scree will be replaced by rubble and rocks. Here the path begins to climb steeply again, and in some areas the steepness is even protected by logjams. Once you have overcome the more difficult part, you will only have to climb the rocks for about five minutes before you reach your destination.
