The Modonutti–Savoia caving shelter is located at an elevation of 1,908 meters on the Italian side of the Julian Alps. The shelter is equipped with sleeping berths, tables, and a stove. From in front of the bivouac, a beautiful view of the surrounding high mountains opens up.
