The mountain hut is located at an elevation of 674 meters, near the summit of Jermanec, above Sežana. The summit of Kokoši, after which it is named, is just a few minutes’ walk away and lies in the middle of the forest. From a nearby meadow, a view of the surrounding peaks opens up before us.
