Planica is a 926-meter-high peak that rises above the village of Gozd. Shorter trails, mostly unmarked, lead to the summit. There is also a mountain hut at the summit. The view is partially obstructed by the forest, but on one side, a beautiful view opens up toward the nearby hills.
