Partizanski dom na Vodiški planini (General)

Vodiška Planina lies at an elevation of 1,108 meters above sea level on the Jelovica Plateau. A large Partisan lodge has been built here in memory of the fighters of the National Liberation Army (NOV). The lodge stands exactly where a herdsman’s hut once stood before World War II; that hut had served as a gathering place for communists. The mountain was also known for a very old, majestic linden tree, which was planted as early as 1473.
