Obirska Planina lies at an elevation of 1,272 meters above sea level, above the Kurnik Pass. It is a lesser-known mountain pasture located on the Austrian side of the Karawanks. There is a mountain hut on the plateau, and from there, a view opens up toward the rest of the Karawanks and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
