Mala Boncla is a 1,131-meter-high hill rising in the Karawanks, specifically above Javorniški Rovt. Mala Boncla has a rocky and steep summit, which is secured with ropes for this very reason. Mala Boncla offers beautiful views, especially of the Bohinj Mountains, the Julian Alps—including Triglav and Škrlatica—Golica (well-known for its daffodils), and other peaks. It lies right next to Velika Boncla, which is higher but less prominent than Mala Boncla. Mala Boncla is a less-visited hill, reached by a short, unmarked trail.
