The Krek Hut is located at an elevation of 1,642 meters on the Ratitovec ridge, more precisely just below Gladki Vrh. The hike to the hut is an excellent outing even for families, as the trail is not difficult. From the hut, an exceptional view of the Slovenian high mountains unfolds before us.
