Kalvarija, also known as Stari Grad, is a 460-meter-high peak above Polhov Gradec. Short hiking trails lead to the summit through the forest. A castle once stood at the top, but it was burned down during the peasant uprisings. Today, a chapel stands on this site, accessed via small chapels featuring images of the Stations of the Cross. From the summit, a beautiful view opens up toward Polhov Gradec and the surrounding hills.
