From Ljubljana, drive towards Tolmin, along the old road past Škofja Loka. After about 1 hour of driving, you will arrive in the village of Sovodenj. Along the way, you will soon see a small Mercator shop on your left, and a larger car park just a little further on, where you can park.
Trail description:Cross a small bridge on foot and continue past the fire station to the left, and immediately at the Pr'Košanc Inn take the middle path, which climbs steeply. The road turns sharp left once and turns to macadam. From here, continue straight on, keeping to the first fork. The road turns to tarmac again, and shortly afterwards a forest track branches off to the left, which you turn onto. After a short climb, the forest opens up a little and you will see a larger meadow on your left. Continue along the path beside the meadow, which soon leads to two houses. After the two houses, turn right onto the road, which you stick to for a short distance, as a macadam track soon branches off to the right. Shortly after this fork, you will come to another fork, where you keep left. Very soon there is another fork, again to the left, onto a climbing grass track. The track crosses a track and continues into the woods. From here on it climbs slowly towards the summit, where a concrete pillar is erected. The top is covered with forest, so the path continues onwards to a nearby meadow, from which we have an exceptional view.
