Getting to the trailhead:

From Tolmin, head towards Kobarid. In Kobarid, just a few dozen metres after Petrol, turn right for Vrsno / Bovec / Drežnica. Continue driving to the first fork, where you turn left and immediately afterwards left again (to stay on Gregorčičeva Street). Continue to the Napoleon Bridge, which you will cross, and immediately afterwards turn left. The road is a bit more winding at first, but then it straightens out and goes through Drežnica towards the Drežnice Plains. At a crossroads in the village, turn right towards Krasje Top and then right again. Continue driving to a large water trough, which you will see just off the road. There will be a large parking area next to it, where you can park.

Trail description:

Continue on foot, first along the road, past the hut, and shortly after it turn right, across a small stream, onto a grassy track. The track ascends to a dirt road, which you follow until the grass track branches off again to the left. From here on, we ascend the track, crossing the dirt road a few times in between. When the track leads to a road with several forks (one of which is for a waterfall), cross the road and climb up the middle, narrowest track. This will climb into the woods, which will be the path we will follow. The path is very well marked, so there is no danger of getting lost. The path climbs for most of the way, crossing a small clearing only briefly in between. After the clearing, the path climbs a little more steeply and leads to a fork where you turn left. From here on, the path lays down a little and bypasses the intermediate peak, then turns into alternating smaller ascents and descents on a grassy slope, until the main, final ascent. The last climb is the steepest and takes about 45 minutes. From here on, it's just a few minutes' walk along the ridge and you'll reach the top.
