Coming from Ljubljana, take the Celovška road towards Medvode. When you get to Medna, immediately turn left, towards the hotel. Pass the hotel on the road which will soon lead you to a crossroads. Turn left here towards Golemi brdo. After a few minutes' drive, you will reach a crossroads where you turn right, towards the Belšak Guesthouse and the Slavkov House. Just a few ten metres up this road, you will see the guest house on your right and a small car park on the side of the road where you can park.

Continue on foot along the road until you reach the first house on the left, after which you immediately turn left into the forest. Continue along the forest track, which climbs moderately at first. When you reach a crossroads, turn left. From here on, the track is laid. Continue until you reach an oak tree, where a signpost directs you to the left towards Katarina. Soon the path inclines again and starts to climb. At the next crossroads turn left. Continue along the sloping path, which soon crosses a meadow and leads to a road which you climb. This leads to a small chapel. Turn right here, past the chapel and continue along the road for a few more metres, when the track turns into the woods again. There is just one last climb and you will reach the top.
