From Ljubljana, take the motorway towards Celje.Leave the motorway at the exit for Šentrupert, Gornji grad, Mozirje, then turn left and continue on the main road to Letuš. Here, take the first exit at the roundabout and continue on the main road towards Beli Voda. From here, continue along the road again until you turn right towards Andrej's house in Slemen. Park in the car park in front of the house.

Walk back the way you came, all the way to the fork, only this time turn right and descend to the main road, which you cross. On the other side, a little to the left down the road, you will see a narrow lane, which you will join. The track will lead you across a meadow, past a small church, to a parking area next to the church, where you will rejoin the dirt road. You will then walk on mainly level ground until you reach the next major fork
