From Tolmin, head towards Most na Soči. Turn left here and drive to Bača pri Modreju, where you turn left towards Podbrdo. Continue along the main road until you reach Petrovy Brdo, where at the crossroads keep left (also signposted Sorica). Follow the road for a longer distance until you reach a large car park at the Sorica ski resort. Continue past the chalets and park behind the last chalet.

The trail starts before a bend to the right, where a grassy path branches off to the left, leading into a small forest. Walk past a few houses until you reach the ski slope, where you turn right and continue along the cable car until you reach the end of the slope. Here you will see a track turning to the right. We do not join the track, but continue straight on, following the path through the small wood. When we come out of the copse, we will come to a fork. Turn right and climb to the top of Slatnik. Continue on the other side of the peak to start the descent. When the path is laid, you will see an old, non-working cable car. At the same time, another path joins from the left. We continue past the cable car towards Ovčarski stan. Except that we do not turn right towards Ovčarski stan, but continue ascending until we reach a crossroads, where we choose the path towards Možic, which is a 15-minute walk away. In the meantime, there is first a short descent, then a walk on flat ground, and finally a climb up to Možic.
