If you are coming from Kranj on the motorway towards Ljubljana, turn right after the Šentviškis tunnel onto the Podutik exit. Just after the exit, turn right again onto the main road, which you follow for a longer distance. When you reach the village of Šujica, turn right at a major fork and follow the road for a longer distance, almost to Topol, where the road will turn sharp left. Turn off here and continue driving towards the village of Belo. There is a long drive along a narrow road, which will also descend a little in between. When you reach the hamlet, where you will also see a sign for the farm Pr'Lenart, find a suitable parking place along the road and park.

Continue on foot along the road until it reaches a fork, at which you turn right and then right again, and then turn off the road onto a grass track. Follow this path up to a viewpoint. Continue along this path, which will take you past the cottage, all the way to the forest. Here, a small signpost for Grmada will direct us into the woods along a path which will first take us gently around a small hill on our left, then turn towards our summit. Another path will join the gentle path. Here we continue straight ahead on the signposted path, which will lead us to a bench. Here we follow the path to the right. After only a few hundred metres, the path will fork. We turn right, up a steeply ascending path that will take us all the way to our summit.
