From Tolmin, head towards Bovec. You will pass the Boka Hotel and a bridge with a beautiful view of the Boka waterfall. Soon after, the road will turn left towards the golf course, where you will also see a sign - turn here and drive to the parking lot, where you can park
Trail description:From the car park, continue along the road until you reach a marked crossroads where the signpost for the Virje waterfall points to the left. The path will lead into a small wood and then fork again. Turn left again and join the dirt road. Cross the bridge over the Gljun stream and then start climbing up the narrow path. As you go along, another path will branch off to the right and you can continue straight ahead. When the path has been laid, you will emerge from the forest and join a concrete path that will lead you to a reservoir, which you will pass on your left. After the lake, the path joins the road, which you follow up to the car park. Before the car park, you will see a dirt track on the right, which descends towards the Virje waterfall. Join it and continue walking to the waterfall.
