From Tolmin, head towards Nova Gorica. Drive to the village of Plave, where you turn left for Paljevo. Follow the road uphill, with one turn to the left, and then a little further on, before the second turn, you will see parking, a bench and a teaching board on your left - park here.

On foot, follow the path as it immediately turns into the forest. There is a moderate climb up a track, from which a narrow path will branch off to the right (you will recognise the branch by the stone wall) - turn here. Follow the path as it climbs, during which a path will branch off to the right, leading towards the military ruins, and we keep to the left, ascending path, which will take us up to Prižnice. From here, we continue on the other side of the summit and descend to the Church of Saint Quirinus. Continue past the church on the dirt road leading to the road, which splits here. Turn left and follow the road up to the hut.
