Drive into Tolmin and at the main traffic lights turn towards the village of Zatolmin. Once in Zatolmin, turn right after the Zatolmin guesthouse towards Tolminski korite. From here, drive just a few dozen metres and turn left at the next possible fork, just before the Gugala cheese factory. From here on, stick to the road, which becomes a dirt road behind St Peter's Church. A longer drive through the forest follows, which after about half an hour brings us to a fork where the road to Sv. Duh na Javorci branches off to the left, and we continue straight on for a few more tens of metres until we reach the roadblock in front of which we park.
Trail description:Continue on foot along the road past the barrier, which is initially surrounded by meadows and later turns into a forest. Continue on the flat road for a while, then the road begins a steeper, winding climb. The climb takes a long time. Shortly after crossing another roadblock, the road will fork - turn right here and descend a few hundred metres to the source of the Tolminka River, which is located on a larger meadow, next to which is the Hunting Lodge under Osojnica. From here, continue along the meadow. On the other side of the meadow you will see signposts - follow the direction towards Prehodce. Cross the stream and continue along the track in the grove. At first, the path is level, but soon it starts to climb and turns into a narrower path that continues out of the copse. Continue to the next crossroads, where you keep left towards Lašca mountain. There is a section of scree and rocks. The path is a bit dangerous in some parts and is also protected by wooden posts. When the rubble part ends, the path leads back into the forest and climbs up to Lašca mountain.
