In Mozirje, follow the signs for Golte, which take you through several villages and onto an ascending road. Just before the car park behind the Mozirsko hut, there will be a fork where you turn left towards the Hotel Golte. Park in the car park.

Walk back along the road from where you came, all the way to the car park of Mozirska hut. Take the rightmost dirt road, which initially descends slightly. When you come to a crossroads, which you will recognise by the chapel, keep straight ahead. The path will lead you towards the Mozirska hut, and just before the hut, a path will branch off to the left, turn left and head into the forest. You will then climb through the forest until you reach a short break in the forest, where a path branches off to the right and leads across a meadow to Javorca.
