From Tolmin, head towards Kobarid. In Idrsko, turn left towards Livek and continue to the aforementioned settlement, where you turn left towards Kolovrat. Continue along the road into Italy, to Drenchia, where you can park in the bus station car park.

Continue on foot along the road, but only for a short distance. On your right you will see steps leading up to the upper part of the village. When the steps end, turn left and walk along the road to the end of the road, where you turn right up the slope to the first house. Here, climb the steps on the left and walk along the path past a few houses to a fork to the left, where you turn left and take a grassy path leading into the woods. Shortly after entering the wood, be careful as the path will fork. You need to turn left. There is a signpost on a rock on your left and a direction sign attached to a tree on the right-hand side of the path. There is a long climb up a path that goes through the forest and leads out of the forest just before the finish.
