From Tolmin, head toward Kobarid. Here, just past the gas station, turn right toward Vrsno, Bovec, and Drežnica. Immediately after that, you’ll come to a fork in the road, where you’ll turn right again. Continue along the road, cross the Napoleon Bridge over the Soča River, then turn left and continue along the road all the way to Drežnica, where you’ll park near the playground.

Continue on foot toward the intersection; turn right here and follow the road to Koseč. In the village, walk to the larger bridge, where you’ll turn left onto the ascending path just before it. Follow the path, which soon turns into a dirt track, past the last houses and into the forest. Shortly after entering the forest, the path will fork; take the right fork, which crosses a stream, and then begins to climb. After a few minutes of climbing, you’ll reach another fork; take a sharp left here, as indicated by the signpost. A longer climb follows, after which you’ll reach another fork where you’ll take another sharp left. Shortly after the turn, you’ll reach a meadow; cross it and, on the other side, look for the path that leads back into the forest. A short climb follows, after which the forest thins out again and the trail splits. Turn left and climb up to the chapel.
