From Tolmin, head toward Most na Soči. Here, turn left and drive to Postaja, where you’ll turn right across the Idrijca River. Continue all the way to Čepovan, where you’ll turn right at the fire station. Continue on toward Banjščice and then on to the fork in the road. Here, turn left and follow the road to Bat. Drive through the village and park in a small parking lot by the road, just past the village of Bat. You’ll recognize the parking lot by the trash dump.
Trail description:From the parking lot, head along the road in the opposite direction of the village of Bate. Walk just a few meters, then carefully cross the road and turn onto the dirt road, as indicated by the signpost. The dirt road leads into the forest, and shortly after, a trail branches off to the right, which you take. After a short walk, there will be another fork, this time to the left, which you also take. From here, a longer climb up a forest trail follows. The next fork will be somewhat harder to spot; here, turn right and continue the ascent. After a longer walk, another trail will join from the right. We, however, continue left toward the summit, which we’ll soon reach.
