From Celje, take the highway toward Slovenska Bistrica. Exit the highway at the Konjice / Poljčane / Zreče exit, and at the roundabout, take the second exit toward Tepanje. Drive to the village of Žice, where you’ll turn left at the T-intersection. Then drive to the village of Loče, where you’ll take the first exit at the roundabout. Continue on the main road to Čadramska vas, where you’ll turn right toward Rogaška Slatina. When you arrive in Zgornje Poljčane, a few hundred meters past the sign for Podboč, turn left up the hill. Drive to the well-maintained gravel parking lot, where you can park.

From the parking lot, head right up the hill and you’ll soon reach the forest. There will be many educational and directional signs here. Immediately turn right off the road and keep to the right (pass the educational sign on your right). Follow the trail, which soon crosses the road. After crossing the road, a long climb begins, during which you’ll also pass a monument. Shortly after that, you’ll reach a fork in the trail. Cross the cart track and continue along the middle (narrower) path. Another long climb follows. During this climb, you’ll pass a cross, beyond which you’ll soon come to another fork. Here, we join the dirt road, turn left, and continue along the road—but only until the next fork, where a forest trail branches off to the left again; we turn onto it and continue the ascent. When we rejoin the gravel road, we’re almost at the summit. A short walk along the gravel road follows—just long enough to bypass the military zone—and then we rejoin the trail, which quickly takes us to the summit.
