From Tolmin, take the road that passes through the villages toward Kobarid. After passing the village of Kamno, you’ll see a small parking lot on the left side of the road and a sign for Sveti Lovrenc on the right. Park here.

We walk up the trail that leads through a small forest to a meadow. We cross the meadow and join a dirt road, where we turn left. The dirt road passes a weekend cottage on the left, then begins to climb and enters the forest. After a short climb, we cross the road, then continue along what is now a narrow trail, which soon leads us to another road crossing. We continue along the trail, which soon forks. We turn left, as indicated by a sign. We continue with a longer climb along a military dirt road. We walk all the way to a gravel road, where we turn left. The path to the right leads toward Ladrski Vrh, which you can choose as an intermediate destination on your route. After the left turn, the path soon begins a steep descent. When we reach a fork in the trail, we keep to the right and continue our descent, which is no longer as steep from this point on. At the end of the descent, we’ll arrive in front of a quarry, which we’ll bypass on the left and join the road. We walk along the road to the right for a few dozen meters, then turn right and join a dirt road, which we follow to the meadow we crossed at the beginning. We’ll then cross the meadow again, descend along the path through a small forest, and arrive at the parking lot.
