From Tolmin, head toward Kobarid. Along the way, a road branching off to the right will lead to Kamno; take that turn. Drive across the bridge, then turn right at the intersection by the chapel and continue to the cemetery on the left side of the road. Park in the small parking lot there.
Trail description:Let’s continue on foot along the gravel path that runs along the right side of the cemetery. The path will soon fork; we’ll take the left fork, which will lead us into the village. Here, turn left and head down the slope, but not all the way to the bottom—just to the junction with a slightly narrower road on the right, where you’ll turn. Next, walk uphill until you reach the edge of the forest. From here, continue along the forest edge for a while until you reach some pasture meadows, which you’ll cross. Before the hayrack, on the other side of the pastures, turn left and join the road, which you’ll follow to the village and continue through the village to the Selce parking lot. From here, we continue along the road, which initially descends slightly, and immediately afterward turn left, as indicated by the signpost. We then step onto a dirt track and follow it into the forest. As soon as you enter the forest, the trail begins to descend steeply. Continue this way for some time until you reach a stream, which you cross. There will be a fork in the trail here; keep to the right. From here on, the trail begins to climb. The ascent first goes through the forest, then across a scree slope. When the trail leads back into the forest, it begins to descend steeply again and takes us to the lower, smaller waterfall. From here, you’ll need to climb steeply over the rocks, secured by steel cables and ropes. After that, there’s just a short walk along a forest trail, and you’ll reach your destination.
