From Tolmin, head toward Most na Soči. Here, turn left and drive to Postaja, where you’ll turn right across the Idrijca River. Continue all the way to Čepovan, where you’ll turn right at the fire station. Continue on toward Banjščice and then on to the fork in the road. Here, turn left and follow the road to Bat. Drive through the village and park in a small parking lot by the road, just past the village of Bat. You’ll recognize the parking lot by the trash dump.
Trail description:We set off on foot along the gravel road and soon reach a fork in the road. Here, we turn right and follow a grassy dirt road into the forest. The dirt road turns into a narrow path that climbs gently. After walking for some time, we’ll reach a road; we’ll join it and turn left. We’ll follow it to a house, in front of which we’ll turn right onto a grassy trail that leads into the forest. Soon after entering the forest, the path forks; take the left fork. Follow the trail uphill to a small meadow, where you turn right. Here, the path narrows again and leads back into the forest. A longer climb to the summit follows.
