From Tolmin, we drive toward the village of Poljubin and on toward Ljubinj. In the village of Ljubinj, shortly after the Church of St. Michael, we turn left onto a narrow, winding, uphill road that, after a few minutes’ drive, will take us right to the Stador Mountain Hut, where we park in the nearby parking lot.

From the parking lot, we continue on foot along the gravel road. The road immediately leads into the forest and remains mostly flat all the way to the Lom mountain pasture. From the Lom mountain pasture, we continue along the road, which passes by several huts, onto a moderately ascending gravel road through the forest. We follow the road all the way to the Kuk mountain pasture, which lies right next to the trail. We continue through the fence, next to which stands a sign for the Razor and Podkuk mountain pastures. Soon, the Kuk mountain pasture will open up before us, offering a magnificent view of our summit. Continue along the road, which begins to climb past the huts. The trail will fork at a sharp bend—here, keep to the left, following the main path. This path soon levels out and turns into the forest. We then continue through the forest for quite some time on gentle terrain, all the way to a signpost that directs us to the right into the woods—toward the hut on Planina Razor. A short climb through the woods remains, and we’ll reach our destination.
