From Nova Gorica, head toward Tolmin. In the village of Ročinj, turn left toward Kambreško. Continue to that village, where you’ll turn right toward the village of Livek. From there, follow the road all the way to the Planinski dom pod Ježo mountain hut, which is located right next to the road.

We find the trail across the road, on a small grassy stretch that leads straight into the forest. The trail begins to climb steeply right away and continues in this manner all the way to a fork in the trail. Here, a signpost directs us to the right. The trail levels off and leads us along a narrow path to another fork. Again, we take the right path and continue along it for a few more minutes, after which it joins a wider dirt road, which we follow. We turn right and continue along the path, which soon forks. We take the left path and continue to another, slightly larger, fork. Here, we turn left toward the 9th boundary marker. Climb about 10 meters, then turn left again onto a narrow trail, which will take you to the summit in a few minutes.
