From Nova Gorica, head toward Tolmin. In the village of Ročinj, turn left toward Kambreško. Continue to that village, where you’ll turn right toward the village of Livek. From there, follow the road all the way to the Planinski dom pod Ježo mountain hut, which is located right next to the road.
Trail description:We find the trail across the road, on a small grassy stretch that leads straight into the forest. The trail begins to climb steeply right away and continues in this manner all the way to a fork. Here, a signpost directs us to the right. The trail levels off and leads us along a narrow path to another fork. Again, we take the right path and continue along it for a few more minutes, after which it joins a wider dirt road, which we follow. We turn right and continue along the path, which soon forks. We take the left path and continue to another, slightly larger, fork. Here, too, take the right path, which quickly leads to a meadow with a small wooden cabin at the end. Cross the meadow on the right side, and at the end of it, find the path that continues onward. From here on, the trail begins to climb again and leads us to the summit in a few minutes.
