From Ljubljana, take the highway toward Štajerska. Exit the highway at the Celje–Center exit and continue toward Zreče. In Zreče, you’ll come to a roundabout; take the third exit (sign for “center”). Continue along the main road, which passes the Tuš Kea supermarket and the Pod Roglo Hotel, and then begins a steep, winding ascent to the Rogla Ski Resort. We continue past the ski resort, following the road, which after a few minutes’ drive will take us to the Pesek mountain hut, where we park in the lot in front of it.

We continue on foot along the road, which is paved at first but soon turns into a gravel road. This is followed by a walk of just under an hour across fairly flat terrain, after which we’ll reach a crossroads. Here, we turn left toward Klopni Vrh. However, we continue along the road for only a few meters before turning onto a forest trail, which we’ll find just a few meters further along the road leading toward Klopni Vrh. We continue for quite some time along a pleasant forest path that climbs very gradually—or is even flat at times—joining the gravel road leading to the Klopni Vrh Hut a few times along the way. The trail is very well marked, so it’s impossible to miss. When we reach the hut, we continue past it along the road, but only as far as the end of the white fence, where we turn left onto a forest trail. The trail, which is flat at first, soon forks; we take the right-hand path, which begins to climb moderately toward the summit.
