From Tolmin, head toward Most na Soči, and at the intersection there, turn right. Continue across the bridge and then follow the main road toward Kozaršče. However, we don’t drive all the way to Kozaršče; instead, in Poljanca, shortly after Modrejci (just before the road starts to descend), we turn right and park in the parking lot not far from the road.

From the parking lot, we continue along the gravel road that leads into the forest. We climb along the gravel road until we reach a sharp right-hand turn, where a slightly narrower, rougher road branches off straight ahead; we take this road. When the road levels out, you’ll notice a cart track branching off to the left. Take this mostly flat cart track, which eventually turns into a narrow path. Continue along the trail to a tunnel, which you must cross to continue on the route. This is followed by a walk through a somewhat steep section, which is also protected by railings. At the end of the steep section, you’ll reach a fork near several caves. Here, take the right, steep path, which leads to a small meadow that you’ll cross. The meadow turns into a grassy cart track that leads to the ruins of a few houses, where we turn right onto a narrow path, climb a few steps, and cross a narrow concrete road, and then, following the steep trail, we reach the summit in a few minutes.
