From Cagliari, take the SS128 northward. Pass through the towns of More Corraxe, Monastir, Seuni, Mandas, and Isili. Just past the last of these towns, a road will soon branch off to the right (sign for “colonia penale 7”); turn there and continue along the SS295, which, after a long drive, will lead you to the shelter.
Trail description:We continue on foot along the gravel road that runs to the right of the shelter (following the sign for Arcu Gennargentu). We follow this road for quite some time; it climbs gently the entire way. After walking for some time, you’ll see two large brown signs ahead of you, with a path branching off to the right a few dozen meters before them. Take the right path, which first climbs steeply, then turns left and levels off. Continue along the ridge, which will soon lead you to your destination.
