From Ljubljana, take the motorway to Kranj. Leave the motorway at the Kranj East/Škofja Loka exit. Then, at the roundabout, drive towards Šenčur. In Šenčur, turn left along Pipanova cesta. Then turn right in Visoke towards Preddvor. In Preddvor you can park at the Mercator supermarket.

From the car park, continue right in the direction of Preddvor/Mač. Follow the signs for Dvorski trg (left) at the junction and then right onto Novljanska cesta. When you get to the crossroads, turn right in the direction of Nová vas. When you get into the forest, go left, and when you come out of the forest, go right towards the lake.
