Drive to Polhov Gradec, where you turn right at the bus stop in the direction of Črni Vrh. After a short climb, you will reach Polhograjska manor, where shortly afterwards you will see direction signs for Polhograjska Gora. Park in a suitable place.

Near Polhograjska manor house, mountain signs direct you to the left towards the beekeepers' home. The trail to Polhograjska Gora starts there. The path climbs moderately through the forest most of the time, then leads to a meadow where the path continues to the left past the chapel to the summit.
