Take the motorway towards Ljubljana and take the Ivančna Gorica exit. Then follow the signs towards Šentvid pri Stični. In Šentvid pri Stični, turn left towards the village of Pristavlja vas. Park at the end of the village on the left before the forest begins.

Continue along the marked track through the forest. The path climbs gently at first. The path is well maintained and well signposted. After 10 minutes of walking, the path starts to climb a little steeper. The trail mostly passes through the forest and after about half an hour's walk leads to Lavričeva hut. From the hut you can continue to the nearby Gradišče peak, where the church stands.
