From Postojna we head towards Pivka. We pass the villages of Rakitnik, Matenja vas, Reška cesta and Selce. When you reach the village of Petelinje, turn left at the sign for Petelinje jezero. Pass through the village and then arrive at Sloveska vas. There you will see a large car park on the left, where you park.
Trail description:In the car park at the starting point, you will see a sign for Sveta Trojica. The sign directs you through Slovesnka vas to the Pivka Intermittent Lakes Ecomuseum, where signs point you to the right. The road climbs gently at first and then gradually descends. Soon you reach a small crossroads where the signs for Sveta Trojica direct you to the left by a fence where animals are grazing. Continue on and soon you will reach a crossroads where the marked footpath to Sveta Trojica branches off to the right (and the road to Petelinjsko jezero continues straight ahead). Continue in the direction of Sveta Trinity and follow the path as it continues through a dense belt of bushes. Then continue along the macadam road, past the Eko Farm Slavec. Walk along the dirt road for a while until the signs point to the left for Sveta Trojica. Then walk along the dirt road to the top and follow the signs on the trail. At the top is the Church of the Holy Trinity.
