From Celje, we head towards Šentjur and Rogatec. In Rogatec, the signs for Donačka gora point to the left. Follow the signs for Donačka Gora and Rudijev dom. The road is well signposted and soon leads to Rudi's home, where we park nearby.

From the car park at Rudi's house, continue along the signposted road towards Donačka gora. After a few metres, you will reach a crossroads, where you continue along the right-hand path, which begins to climb. A well-marked path leads through the primeval forest. Somewhere in the middle of the trail is a commemorative plaque. According to the inscription, this was the first mountain trail in Slovenia. We then continue along the marked trail and soon arrive at the summit, where a stone monument stands.
