From Ljubljana, we drive towards Borovnice. Turn into the village of Brezovica near Borovnica and drive to the Pekel guest house, where you park.
Trail description:From the car park, follow the tourist trail to the start of the Pekel gorge. The trail soon leads over a bridge and after a few minutes of climbing you reach the first waterfall. The path then starts to climb and leads to a crossroads. To the left across the bridge is the second waterfall. We return to the crossroads, where we now head towards the right-hand side and the third waterfall. The path continues along steep steps, followed by a few stiles. Follow the markings and the path takes you left along the stream and leads you to the fourth waterfall. There is then a short climb up a steep slope, where a rope leads to the next bridge over the stream. There are small troughs below us. The path ahead continues to climb and gets closer to the water. There is only a short descent to the stream, where a beautiful view of the fifth waterfall opens up.
Additional tips:Watch out for slips.
