From Ljubljana, take the highway toward the Gorenjska region. Exit the highway at the Brezje exit, and immediately after that, turn left at the fork. Drive through Črnivec and, at the first traffic-light-controlled intersection, turn right toward Begunje na Gorenjskem. Continue along the main road to the village of Zapuže, where you’ll turn right at the intersection (follow the signs for Begunje). From there, continue through Begunje all the way to Gostišče Draga, which is located along the road. Park here in the large parking lot.

We continue on foot along the road, which turns into a gravel road after the inn. Past the large apiary by the road—which we’ll see shortly after starting our walk—we turn left at the fork, after which the gravel road begins to climb. We continue along the road for quite some time; about 10 minutes after crossing a small bridge, a trail marker and a sign reading “Roblek” will direct us left onto a forest trail. The trail begins to climb steeply right away, crossing the gravel road several times along the way, then emerges from the forest and leads us up a grassy slope to the Planinca mountain pasture. From here, continue along the gravel road, which will lead you to the Poljška mountain pasture in about 10 minutes.
