Getting to the trailhead:

We start our journey in the direction of Škofja Loka and towards Železniki. In Železniki, drive straight ahead and keep to the direction of the village of Podbrdo. However, do not drive all the way to Podbrdo, but keep an eye out for Zali Log. Once you leave Zali Log, the road will continue for a few kilometres until you reach a crossroads, where a sign on the right will direct you to a narrow road towards Torka and Ravenna. For the next few kilometres, we drive along a narrow, very steep and very poorly protected road. First you will reach the village of Ravne, where you keep right at the crossroads. The road soon leads to the next small village, where we will park. We park right next to the road, where the grass is already laid. There are usually cars already parked here, so you can't miss the parking area. From here we continue on foot.

Trail description:

First, climb up the hill until you reach the yellow house, at which you turn right. A few steps further on, the road turns to gravel. We continue walking until the path leads us into the forest. When we see the first possible turn to the left, onto a forest track, we turn off. A signpost warns us of this. We then climb up the path for a while until we reach the first crossroads, where we keep left again. Again, we continue upwards, along a fairly steeply ascending forest track, which soon leads us out of the forest and onto grassy areas. Signposts regularly accompany us all the way, pointing the right way. The grassy path continues to climb for a while before becoming more level. Soon you will see the Krekova hut, and a few dozen metres after that you will climb to the top, where there is also a stamp.
