From Ljubljana, take the motorway towards Gorenjska and leave the motorway at the exit for Kamnik. From here on, follow the road leading to Vodice. After Vodice, continue on past Zgornji Brnik and Cerklje na Gorenjskem. When you reach the village of Grad, keep right at the fork and continue driving for a few hundred metres, when the road will branch off to the left and you will turn left. From here on, stick to the main road, which leads past Ambrož pod Krvavcem, all the way to the large car park on Planina Jezerca, which is just off the road.
Trail description:At the end of the car park, where there is a large signpost and signposts, take the road to the left, which leads you past the barrier. Follow this road for a few minutes and you will come to a fork with a small wooden building next to it. Turn right here and climb up to Kriška planina. On the mountain, a path to the left leads past the huts and on to a grassy slope, which we climb to the edge of the forest, where the path leads us past larger spruces to the top of the mountain. Here the path joins a macadam road which leads past a small church. Keep to the macadam road, which is level until the foot of the summit, then the macadam turns into a paved path and leads steeply up to a large artificial lake, intended for artificial snow. Go around the lake on your left and you will be at the top of the lake.
